The future of conveyor maintenance management relies on ever more structured service level agreements – we have set out a straightforward format to describe the concepts of available levels of service in further detail – we use detailed information as a template when setting up specific contracts to ensure that all issues are covered and that customer expectations can be met and indeed exceeded.

Total conveyor maintenance

Service Level 1
This is a “pay as you go” option whereby all service, maintenance and repair work is carried out on an ad hoc basis. It does not provide access to our 24/7 response or include scheduled maintenance, but it does give the customer peace of mind that any work they require is carried out by qualified technicians to the highest quality standards and that all health and safety regulations are observed.

Service Level 2
Service level 2 gives the customer access to our 24/7 administered response where a qualified operator can work with the customer to formulate an action plan to resolve the reported problem. We are then able to undertake and work required as an add-on to the service agreement.

Service Level 3
At Service Level 3 we will provide access to a guaranteed 24/7 response to include on-site service within agreed timescales, we will undertake regular scheduled surveys of conveyors and work with the customer to plan any routine or preventative maintenance required (we can undertake such work as an add-on to the service agreement) and we will undertake feasibility studies for changes to conveyor configuration, operating conditions, speed, tonnage etc and provide a detailed report of our findings. At this level, the customer remains in complete control of conveyor maintenance with Ace providing individual products and services at agreed prices.

Service Level 4
Our highest level of service agreement which provides the customer with access to an Ace Contract Manager who will oversee all aspects of the service and maintenance of all conveyors contained within the agreement. We will undertake regular surveys, plan routine and preventative maintenance, carry out all service work, provide management information and reporting to the customer, manage stock of strategic spare parts and give access to a guaranteed 24/7 emergency response team to include on-site services. We will also undertake feasibility studies for changes to conveyor configuration, operating conditions, speed, tonnage etc and provide a detailed report of our findings. Each service agreement is individually written to accommodate the peculiarities of each customer’s site and conveyors and to ensure the appropriate level of cover.
