Safe Guarding of Conveyors training
Background to the course:
This course is an interactive learning programme specifically designed to ensure delegates extend their safety knowledge and ability to understand the principals of safe guarding of conveyors to actively minimise risk.
Aimed At:
Individuals that are involved in Guarding of Conveyors
Course Structure and Methods:
The course is made up of two modules which can be run as one or two day courses dependant upon the depth of knowledge & training required.
The course is structured around the above standards which are essential to trainees having the necessary knowledge, skills and competence.
Module 1 involves classroom based learning of the relevant theory standards and safe systems of work. A knowledge based assessment test is taken at the end of this module.
Module 2 takes place on plant and involves practical first hand training and experience. This module is competency assessed.
On completion of this course trainees should have the ability to understand and evaluate hazards and minimise risk on belt conveyors and have the ability to implement safe guarding systems effectively.
