Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) Operator training (HSG150 Rev 1)

Background to the course:

Mobile Elevated Work Platform operator competence training is essential to minimise risk during operations which require completion of work at height.

This course is based on the HSG150 standards, is competence assessed and provides the necessary theory and practical hands on training to meet the above.

Individuals working at height on mobile elevated work platforms

Course Structure and Methods

This one day course is made up of two modules which are structured around the standards essential to ensuring trainees have the knowledge skills and understanding to achieve competence and implement a safe system of work.

Classroom based learning of the relevant theory, standards and safe systems of work is knowledge assessed and is followed by practical hands on operator training & competence assessment.

Trainees must pass both the knowledge test and the practical assessment of the application of knowledge & skills in order to receive certification.

On successful completion of this course, trainees will be competency certified to implement a safe system of work in the use of Mobile Elevated Work Platform to a maximum height of 15m
