Solid Woven

Solid Woven belting consists of a monopoly textile carcass made up of synthetic, polyester or polyamide continuous filament yarns in the load bearing members, giving exceptional strength in both warp and weft directions.

The outer layers consist of heavy polyester spun yarns which absorb shocks and protect the inner load bearing yarns. The PVC impregnation of the solid woven structure binds all of the yarns together and enhances the overall strength performance. The material structure of the solid woven carcass is such to act as a very effective absorber of impact, highly resistant to material penetration. Delamination is eliminated and the PVC impregnated carcass effectively seals out most liquid contaminants which would otherwise lead to deterioration.

  • Fire Resistant
