Hywall™ Belts
Ace Hywall™ special purpose conveyor belts incorporate a flexible sidewall, and cleats vulcanised to the belt surface.
Hywall™ belts enable steep angle and vertical elevation of product over very short horizontal distances. The design of a Hywall™ belt is critical to take into account the properties of the conveyed material, the rate at which it is loaded onto the conveyor and the material trajectory at discharge. Ace have specialist computer software to calculate the ideal layout of Hywall™ belts to suit any application. The base belt properties are of equally high importance – high quality cross stabilised belting is essential to the keep the Hywall™ belt rigid and prevent belt sag.
Hywall™ belts can be manufactured in with 40mm to 400mm sidewalls, in a range of rubber qualities, including:
- Standard SBR
- Oil Resistant
- Heat Resistant
- Fire Resistant
- Food Quality (White Rubber & Polyurethane)
Ace Hywall™ is the only sidewall belt manufactured with the option to hot vulcanise both cleats and sidewalls to the base belt – for applications where heat, oil or chemicals are in contact with the belt, a hot vulcanised construction gives total confidence in the reliability of the product.
