Our conveyor knowledge and ‘one stop shop’ service means that the supply and installation of high quality Conveyor Drums and Rollers is a substantial part of our business.
Our engineering department can handle the design and manufacture of conveyor drums to suit any conveyor application, and we will study the application carefully to ensure that we supply the right drum for the job.
As an advocate of a high quality engineered solution, we
generally advise that drums are attached to shafts using a boss and keyway – this is particularly important on higher tension and conveyor drive applications. Fully welded and bossed/welded drums are available for lower tension rated conveyors.
A large range of rubber covered drums and rollers are available from our Rubber Products and Processing department.
To support our growing service and maintenance contracts business, we stock a range of rollers to suit a wide variety of applications. We work closely with the leading conveyor idler manufactures to select the correct rollers for your conveyor application, and have worked with customers to study roller performance in order to select the most effective product for the application – this is particularly important on long, fast moving conveyors, where roller friction can have a dramatic effect on the conveyor power consumption.
