We are delighted to inform you that Rema Tip Top (UK) Limited has recently completed the purchase of Ace Conveyor Equipment Limited.

The deal is a major landmark for Rema which has grown rapidly over the last 2 years. The company already employs more than 100 people, predominantly at its main base in Leeds but the workforce will now more than double in size with the acquisition of Ace Conveyor Equipment Limited.

Earlier this year we ran a customer satisfaction survey to give our growing number of customers the opportunity to give feedback about the Ace service experience. The survey is designed to give our clients a more independent forum to give us their feedback, and is part of our commitment to the ISO 9000:2000 quality standard. A pilot maintenance contract at 2 Cemex sites was used to demonstrate how Ace can help Quarries to improve business performance.

Ace developed a fixed price contract to undertake regular preventative maintenance work on 57 conveyors, for an annual sum that was 80% of the industry average cost for this type of conveyor plant, thereby offering an immediate 20% saving in direct costs.
