Load Point Sealing

The problem

The troughing idler rollers failed frequently, the product (Stone 50mm to dust) spilled off of the belt both directly under the feed chute, and further along the belt up to the point where the material had settled. In turn, this caused conveyor tracking problems, and safety hazards.

The Solution

Ace fitted a Heavy Duty Impact Nest directly underneath the feed point, which protects the belt from damage, and provides a level belt for the new Sureseal Skirt to seal against, preventing the spillages. Edge Bars & the skirting have been provided up to the point where the material is settled on the belt, to ensure product containment.
